Typical Synopsis

Our synopsis

Our movie starts with a normal window cleaner, who is the protagonist, walking down 7 steps on a ladder, representing the 7 layers of hell. He then finds a box whilst cleaning out his house which contains a bible. He then opens the bible which contains a picture of a devil child, this then possesses him. Therefore, he is the antagonist. This devil then takes him through the 7 layers of hell by controlling his mind and actions. The main character then moves house, therefore, he loses the bible in the process. He then goes to his old house to try and find the bible, before it possesses the person who has moved into the house. However, the woman has already been opened the bible and has been possessed by the bible. The man then feels the need to get rid of the bible, to try and get destroy the possession. Controversially, the woman had given the bible to the church, one Sunday morning. Therefore the man has to go to the church, to try and find out where the bible has been placed. He then looks through every bible in the church before finding the correct one. The devil then tries to stop him destroying the bible through the use of controlling his mind. This means the man has to try and fight the devil’s spirit to allow himself to become free once again. The man somehow finds a way of getting away from the devil and makes a dash for it into the forest. He then starts a fire, which represents the stereotypical view of hell, and tries to burn the bible to pieces, thinking this will extinguish the spirit of the devil. However, when then man returns to his house he finds the number 666 painted all over his walls and front door. He also finds three scratches on his neck, showing the devil has been back to his new house. Therefore, showing the devils’ spirit isn’t just inside the bible but also attached to himself now. The man then feels the need to try and destroy the spirit somehow. Therefore, he decides to end his life and the devils’ spirit, by throwing himself in front of a fast moving car.
