Props

In my groups opening we are using three props. They are business cards, a holy cross and lastly a bible.

The reason to why we have decided to use business cards is because the main character has retired. To show this we have decided to have the main character chucking the business cards away, showing that he does not want anything to do with this business anymore. These business cards will then appear scattered on his bed when he wakes up showing that strange things are going to occur.  These business cards tell us that the protagonist has had a very dark past that has involved demons, spirits, possessions, and exorcisms. 

The next prop that we are going to include in our film is a cross. The reason that we have included this prop in our film is because it is a very recognizable religious item and our film genre is a religious horror. Another reason that we have used this prop is because the main character is going to be heavily religious and it it will have a key role in our film.

The final prop that we are including in the opening of our horror film is Bible. The reason this item is featuring in our film is because it is also a very recognized religious item, just like the cross. I feel that this item will play a big part in our film because our protagonist was heavily involved in religious exercises, he may have used a bible to perform some of his past exorcisms. 

                                                                                       
This was a group task, however we split the workload for efficiency. For this task, my job was to aid my peer with the design and creation of our business cards.
